Free First Fridays @ 5: Dance Performance

Dates: February 3

Warm up for Valentine's Day with a dance performance by instructors from Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Merrillville and refreshments from Shoreline Brewery. Browse the Gallery Shop and view new exhibitions while you mix and mingle − there's something for everyone at our February First Friday after-hours open house. Admission is free.

Shipshewana Amish Flea Market is ON THE ROAD

Dates: South Bend — February 12 - 13, 2012
Valparaiso — March 19 - 20, 2012

From furniture, food, clothes, collectibles, and antiques it is always fun to browse this popular event. Each location is a great day trip at an easy forty minute drive from the guest house.

First Fridays Gallery Hop!!!

Dates: First Friday of every month

Don't miss it! On the First Friday of every month nine galleries in town will be open from 5-8pm for gallery hopping. Not just for artists but also for those who enjoy viewing art, seeing familiar and friendly faces and getting out and about to meet new people. Libations will be served along with snacks. Michigan City has become the one stop shop for art.

Tour Michigan City's Barker Mansion

Tour the mansion and grounds to experience the gracious living of turn of the century opulence. Thirty eight impressive rooms demonstrate Victorian living of the rich and famous.
