Take a romantic one hour trail ride through rural LaPorte at Pleasant Heights Stables. Rates are $80 per couple, and payable at the stable. Reservations for a ride can be made by calling 219-324-7433. Return to the farmhouse for complimentary hot chocolate. Available February 10, 11, 24, and 25, 2012

Stay at Tryon Farm Guest House and you can sign up for a one hour photo shoot with Phyllis Daehn, a talented local photographer, for a fabulous price. Images will be provided on a compact disc with all rights to reprint.

We keep the house warm in February and March by having lots of people in it. Visit us Friday and Saturday, and Sunday night is complimentary. Winter in the country is playful, and relaxing. We have comforters for cuddling, books for reading, movies for watching, and outdoor trails to be hiked. Based on availability on most dates in February and March.
